At
Conservation|Letterfrack, our team of highly-skilled conservator-restorers,
craftspeople and other specialists bring together expertise from all over
the world. We are among the leading experts in Ireland offering a wide range
of conservation and restoration services. Combining the time-honoured skills
of carving, turning, marquetry work, decorative finishing and metalwork with
the latest advances in modern conservation techniques, we undertake conservation
and restoration work on individual objects, furniture collections and the
historic interiors of some of Irelands finest public buildings.
Whether you are a private individual owning a single piece of furniture, the
curator of a museum or the person responsible for the maintenance of a historic
public building, we have something to offer you. Depending on the nature of
the work, we can work either in our award-winning, climatically-controlled
workshop or on site at your location. We also have a well-developed network
of partners and suppliers, who work under our direction on some projects,
enabling Conservation|Letterfrack to meet all your conservation and restoration
needs.
Our main objective at Conservation|Letterfrack is to continue to provide a
professional service throughout Ireland in the field of conservation and restoration
of furniture, wooden artefacts and architectural woodwork to the highest international
standards. We are particularly proud to have worked successfully on time-sensitive
and complex projects, which have given our team the opportunity to use our
wide range of traditional skills and modern techniques (read about the Sligo
Courthouse, the Cork Courthouse and
other projects).
